How do I install ProductImageSync?

Install the add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace. The Install button at the top of every page on this site will lead you there once the listing is live.

Where do exported images go?

Into your own Google Drive, in a folder named “ProductImageSync Images” that the add-on creates or reuses automatically. Processing runs on a Google Cloud worker, and image files are not retained by ProductImageSync after a job completes.

What are the processing modes?

ProductImageSync has three modes. Both places images into cells and writes image URLs into a separate column. Images in cells only places floating images into cells without creating a URL column. URLs in column only exports images to Google Drive and writes image URLs into a spreadsheet column while leaving the floating images in place.

Some images didn't match — what do I do?

For best matching accuracy, keep each floating image mostly within the vertical boundaries of its intended product row. Horizontal overlap is less important. If the add-on cannot confidently match an image, it adds a note in an automatically created ProductImageSync Comment column asking you to move the image closer to its row or place it manually. That column is for review only and can be deleted after processing.

Why is my image limit 500?

That's the current limit of up to 500 floating images per run during the early launch period. Higher limits are planned and will be part of paid plans later.
